JobXentral sets one cookie. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking, so there is no consent banner asking you to accept things you did not want.
The one cookie

Why there is no consent banner
Under the ePrivacy rules, a cookie strictly necessary to deliver a service the user asked for does not require consent. Rate limiting and abuse prevention on a free, account-less AI service is the case we are relying on. We are telling you about it anyway rather than assuming you would not want to know.
If we ever add analytics or anything that tracks you across sites, that will require asking first, and we will ask.
Local storage is not a cookie, but you should know about it too
Your résumé, applications and drafts are kept in your browser's local storage under keys beginning jobxentral. This is not sent to us automatically and is not a tracking mechanism — it is how the product remembers your work without an account. See the privacy page.
Removing it
- Clear site data for jobxentral.com in your browser settings. That removes the cookie and your locally stored work together.
- Blocking the cookie entirely still lets you use the site — you may just hit fair-use limits sooner, because we cannot tell your requests apart from anyone else's.
